The Storm Plan is a book for parents who struggle

The Storm Plan is a book for parents who struggle with their child’s behavior and are ready for more peace.

As a mom, I understand how hard it can be to create peace in your home.

That struggle eventually led to learning that nervous system regulation is the foundation of behavior. But then I discovered that even modern parenting approaches fell short of offering a complete plan for my family—one that would help me regulate my own nervous system so I could show up as the parent I aspired to be, and also support my individual children in regulating theirs to bring out the best in each of them.

Simultaneously, I was working as a nanny in March of 2020, as I had been for many years, and my job was put on pause for a time. Inspired by the desire to create more peace in my own family and help other parents do the same, I decided the time was right to go in a new direction, and I spent the next five years immersed in coursework, research, and eventually the actual writing of The Storm Plan.

I’m not here to tell you how to parent. I’m here to share a plan for nervous system regulation so you can create more peace in yourself and in your relationships. And so your children can grow up to be adults who know how to create peace within themselves and in their relationships.

Together, we can create more peace in our world.
